Express FC have completed the signing of their former defender Derrick Ngoobi on a two year contract.
Ngoobi has joined Express as a free agent after parting ways with Kenya Premier League side Sofapaka FC, as earlier revealed by this website.
The versatile defender left Express in February this year and joined the 2009 Kenya Premier League champions.
During his first stint at Express, Ngoobi played a total of 26 games and scored one goal which came against KCCA at Lugogo.
He initially joined the Red Eagles at the start of the 2022/23 season from Soltilo Bright Stars where he had spent five years.
The workaholic defender who can play as a center back and a right back, also played as a left back at one point last season.
He also featured for Bulemeezi in the Masaza Cup as well as Luweero United and Kikyusa Cream in the Regional League during his hey days.
