Both Kawempe Muslim and Kampala Queens grabbed comfortable victories as the Finance Trust Bank Women Super League resumed with rescheduled fixtures over the weekend.

Both sides came into the weekend after their disappointing goalless draws against She Corporate and She Maroons respectively.

Kawempe Muslim grabbed a 3-1 win over Tooro Queens at the Valley ground on Sunday.

Samalie Nakacwa, Agnes Nabukenya and Hadijah Nandago scored a goal apiece to ensure victory for the reigning champions.

Sharon Nabbowa pulled one back for Tooro Queens in the 79th minute but her goal turned out to be a mere consolation.

Earlier on Saturday, Kampala Queens were 3-0 winners over Olila High School at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.

Anitah Namata scored and assisted Catherine Nagadya for the third goal while Zaina Nandede scored the other with a solo effort.

The results took Kawempe Muslim 24 points, back to the top of the table, one point above second placed Kampala Queens.

The two sides will face off in the anticipated top of table clash at Kawempe on Saturday 28th December.

Olila High School will also host Uganda Martyrs in the other remaining rescheduled fixture on the same day.
