Shaban Muhammad got his first goal of the Libyan Premier League season as Al Hilal Benghazi beat Branes SC 3-0 on Christmas day.
The Uganda Cranes striker opened the scoring in the 25th minute of the game to initiate the comfortable 3-0 victory.
This was Shaban’s second competitive goal in Al Hilal Benghazi colours since joining the club in August this year.
Shaban who was marking his first start of the season, was later withdrawn in the 61st minute and was replaced by Libyan forward Ezzedine Al Miriami.
After three games played, Al Hilal Benghazi are second on the Group 2 table with six points, one behind leaders Al Ahly Benghazi.
Al Ahly Benghazi is home to Ugandan defender Richard Juuko Kasagga.
Erick Kambale was also in action as his side Elettihad Misraty SC lost 2-0 to Al Ahli Tripoli on Christmas day.
The Libyan Premier League has 35 clubs which are divided into three groups of nine and one group of eight.
