Struggling Mbale Heroes start journey with interim head coach Mubarak Wamboya away against Maroons FC at Luzira Prisons grounds on Thursday 2nd December 2025.
Wamboya replaced Asaph Mwebaze who was also suspend few days back by the club.
Hosts Maroons FC are in the fifth position with 19 points while their visitors are 15th with only nine points.
The Prison Warders managed to defeat Police FC 2-1 in their last game away at Kavumba, Mbale Heroes lost 4-0 to Vipers in Mbale.
The fixtures comes only a day after Mbale Heroes announcing how players Tony Kiberu, Sula Mpanga, Puis Kaggwa, Oscar Ssesazzi and Solomon Opolot went awol.
Simon Peter Ojok the assistant coach Maroons FC believes they are more ready for positive results against strugglers Mbale Heroes,
“We are working so hard to make sure we get the result we wanted, Mbale Heroes is having some challenges but we are not taking them for granted because they play good football for us we are coming to implement what we practice in training.”
Maroons is boosted with the return of Jackson Nunda and Apollo Kagogwe but will miss out Hassan Matovu and Innocent Biyika.
