Vipers SC will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of the Uganda Premier league when they visit UPDF FC on Friday at Bombo Military Grounds.

The Venoms thrashed Mbale Heroes FC 4-0 before the short break courtesy of braces from Milton Karisa and Allan Okello.

The six time league champions will be boosted by the return of their coaches John Ayala Luyinda and Fred Muhumuza who missed the victory in Mbale as they were completing their CAF A license course.

Vipers are unbeaten in now 12 games with their last defeat coming on match day one at NEC FC.

UPDF FC under the stewardship of former Vipers SC assistant coach Paul Kiwanuka will be seeking to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Bright Stars.

Kiwanuka who returns to the touchline after finishing his CAF A license course will be aiming to humble his former paymasters.
