SC Villa returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over URA FC on Saturday at Luzira Prison Grounds.

The Jogoos had gone four matches without victory managing three draws against Lugazi FC, Police FC and KCCA FC all ending in one-all draws. They also lost 2-1 to NEC FC.

Without their top scorer Charles Lwanga, SC Villa started Francis Onekalit who scored the solitary goal in the second period.

Onekalit finished off a brilliant counter-attacking move from close range for his first goal in Villa colours.

URA FC had won three and drawn once in their previous four league games.

Meanwhile, SC Villa held on to maximum points and are now seventh with 20 points while the Tax collectors remain sixth with just a point above the record league champions.

SC Villa next visit in form Kitara FC on Tuesday in Hoima while URA FC will welcome Police FC at Nakivubo on the same day.
