Another Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 Game Postponed

The Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 tie between 403 Brigade FC and 10-time competition winners KCCA FC has been postponed.

403 Brigade was meant to host KCCA FC on Tuesday, 14th at St.Daniel Comboni Ground but the game has been postponed since the Kasasiro Boys have eight players on the Uganda Cranes team that is preparing for the CHAN tournament due next month.

Usama Arafat, Mutwalib Mugolofa, Gavin Kizito Mugweri, Joel Sserunjogi, Saidi Mayanja, Brian Ijara, Shafik Nana Kwikiriza, Sadat Anaku are the eight KCCA FC players that were summoned by Cranes head coach Paul Joseph Put.

Seeta United and SC Villa game is the other game that was postponed since the Jogoos have four players on the provisional national team squad for the CHAN tournament.

Meanwhile the 51st edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 will kickoff on Friday with last year’s runners up NEC FC travelling to Mbale’s UCU in a contest to be held at Mbale City Stadium while Tepa FC will entertain three time competition winners Vipers SC at St. Aloysius Core PTC, Ngora. The other game will be between Pakwech Youngsters and Kigezi Homeboyz at St.Mary’s Omach Ground
