The Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 continued on Wednesday, 15th January with three games played at various venues.
URA FC needed a shootout win to overcome Northern Regional league side Kalongo United to secure a slot to the round of 32.
The two sides had played out to a 1-1 stalemate in normal time with Innocent Kisiriko scoring for the visitors side but the hosts levelled matters to force a penalty shootout.
URA FC goalkeeper Derrick Ochan saved two penalties to secure a 2-1 shootout win for his side.
The Tax collectors are under the stewardship of the most successful coach in the competition Alex Isabirye Musongola who has won it four times as a coach.
Wakiso Giants also joined the round of 32 party with a narrow 1-0 win over Mbarara FC thanks to a Mulamba Blanchar sole goal.
In the other game played on Wednesday, Lugazi FC cruised to the round of 32 with a 2-0 victory over Mayuge United. Abdul Kalanzi and Sam Ssemugugu scored the two goals for Steven Bogere coached side.
URA FC, Wakiso Giants and Lugazi FC join Express FC, Vipers SC, BUL FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, NEC FC and holders Kitara FC in the round of 32.
