Mustafa Kizza completes move to Express FC

Express FC have completed the signing of left back Mustafa Kizza on a one year contract.

As earlier reported by this website, Kizza and Express held talks last week over a possible transfer which has finally materialized.

The former CF Montreal and Arouca roving left back has been a free agent since leaving his boyhood club KCCA FC in July.

He was a transfer target for several clubs in North Africa like JS Kabylie of Algeria and Club Africain of Tunisia but nothing conclusive was reached upon.

He is expected to add quality, creativity and experience in the Express FC squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.

He is the umpteenth player to join Express in the ongoing transfer window which is expected to climax on Thursday September 19th.

Emma Alex Wasswa, Saidi Kyeyune, Derrick Ngoobi, Dan Shabena, Rashid Kawawa and Sam Ssenyonjo are some of the other high profile signings made by Express.

As earlier revealed, former BUL FC goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa also joined the Red Eagles on a one year contract.

Herbert Kibirango, Michael Kagiri, Charles Ssembalirwa, Geoffrey Gagganga, Hafidhu Ssonko, Elvis Ssekajugo and Hakim Wandera among others are other new signings at the club.

Express FC will host Mbale Heroes in their season opener on Saturday 14th September at the Nakivubo Stadium.
