Crested Cranes defensive midfielder Joan Anita Nabirye has joined Turkish topflight side Trabzonspor Women FC.
Nabirye mutually parted ways with Russian side Spartak Moscow WFC after one season.
The workaholic midfielder sought for sufficient playing time and will now ply her trade in the Turkish Women’s League.
Nabirye’s European expedition started in 2023 with Belarusian giants FC Minsk before moving to Russia.

Her new club, Trabzonspor Women FC which is affiliated to the Trabzonspor Men’s Team, was founded in 2007.
Nabirye becomes the second East African player at the club after Tanzanian midfielder Diana Lucas Msewa.
Locally, Nabirye played for Muteesa University, Kibuli SS, Asubo Gafford Ladies and Kampala Queens.
