Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa have completed the signing of Bright Stars attacker Ashiraf Mulindi.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Mulindi has put pen to paper on a three year employment contract with the 17- time League champions.

The development comes after Villa missed out on their former player Umar Lutalo who joined KCCA FC.

Mulindi who previously featured for Kataka FC is expected to fill the void left by Hakim Kiwanuka who joined Rwanda’s APR this transfer window.

Mulindi is a Jogoo

Last season, Mulindi scored three league goals including one against his new side and has two goals this term.

Besides Kiwanuka, SC Villa also part ways with winger Peter Onzima and defender Edward Masembe who had their employment contracts terminated.

SC Villa finished eighth in the first round with 20 points and will kickoff their second round campaign away to struggling Wakiso Giants FC on Tuesday, 11th February.
