Striker Sheif Batte has joined Rwanda Premier League club Musanze FC on a contract of six months.
Batte was a free agent since parting ways with Kenya’s Sofapaka FC at the end of the previous season.
Batte previously played for SC Villa, Express FC, UPDF FC, Kyetume, Gaddafi FC and Soltilo Bright Stars.
He joins defender Shafik Bakaki as the other Uganda player at Musanze FC.
Former SC Villa and URA FC winger Salim Abdullah also plays for Musanze, but recently switched allegiance from Uganda to Rwanda.
Musanze FC are currently 11th on the league table with 16 points garnered from 15 games played.
Batte and teammates will play against Rayon Sports in their next league game on 9th February as the league returns from the break.
