Mbabazi to continue as Mbarara City head coach for Second round of the Season

Charles Livingstone Mbabazi will continue as Mbarara City’s head for the second round of the Uganda Premier League.

This website has established that Mbabazi has decided to remain at the helms of the Ankole Lions for the forthcoming second round of the 2024/25 campaign.

Following the club’s final first round contest against KCCA FC, reports indicated that the tactician had decided to part ways with the club.

Mbabazi who returned to Mbarara City at the start of the season has the backing of the club’s hierarchy and will continue with his duties.

Mbabazi will be hoping to help his side avoid the drop this season, they finished the first round with 17 points they garnered in 15 games. His charges will kickoff their second round campaign away to Mbale Heroes FC on Thursday, 13th February.

They also advanced to the round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup following their penalty shootout victory over Junior Eagles in the round of 64.
