Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 Wednesday Results

Yumbe based side Total FC has eliminated ten time and joint record Stanbic Uganda Cup winners Express FC for the competition.
Adinan Khemis scored the all important goal as Total stunned the Red Eagles 1-0 to reach the last 16 of the competition.
Express FC came into the contest without four of their key players in skipper Alex Emmanuel Wasswa, Richard Basangwa, Sam Ssenyonjo and Derrick Ngoobi.
The Red Eagles become the second club Uganda Premier league side to be eliminated from the competition this season after Mbale Heroes fell to Simba FC 3-2 in the To round of 64.
Meanwhile, nine time competition winners SC Villa have advanced to the last 16 after negotiating Buganda Regional league side Simba 1-0 at Namulonge.
Aslam Ssemakula scored the only goal of the contest in the second period as the Jogoos ended Simba’s journey.
SC Villa last won the competition in 2015 beating KCCA FC in the final that was played at Mandela National Stadium.
In the other game played on Wednesday, Rwenzori Lions needed a shootout win to eliminate Buhimba Saints FC 4-3 after a goalless stalemate in normal time.
The round of 32 will resume on Thursday as CATDA host holders Kitara FC, Kaaro Karungi FC will take on Busia Young Stars FC before Vipers welcome Mbarara City.
