FIFA has ordered Fahad Bayo’s former side MFK Vyskov Football Club to pay $55,000 (approximately Shs209M) for breach of contract.

According to the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, the club failed to reveal why they terminated Bayo’s running employment contract.

Fahad Bayo Vs Vyskov – FIFA Footbal Tribunal Award

FIFA told the Czech Republic side to pay Bayo an amount of USD 55,000 as compensation for breach of contract. The full payment (including all applicable interest) shall be made accordingly within 45 days to the bank account.

Vyskov will be banned from registering new players either nationally or internationally in case a full amount of the compensation fee is not paid within the next 45 days.

Vyskov can however appeal the decision within 21 days before the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) as per article 57, part 1 of the FIFA statutes.

Bayo is currently unattached since his departure at MFK Vyskov last year. Tanzania Giants Young Africans (Yanga) have previously expressed interest in his signature.
