Vipers SC tactician Alex Isabirye Musongola has trashed the ongoing rumours that is set to resign from his role at club.

Isabirye who replaced Roberto Luiz Bianchi Pelliser alias Beto Bianchi midway into last season clarified to his players that he is yet to resign and they should focus on preparations for the forthcoming season.

“There are some many rumours going around that have left the job, have resigned but that’s their job, if they don’t write such were will they get the money for their kids. So my players lets concentrate here, let us work and do the job.” Isabirye briefly told his players

 

Last season, Isabirye guided Vipers to a Cup double (League title and Uganda Cup). The achievement saw Vipers join SC Villa, KCCA FC and Express who are the other sides to have done a double.

Isabirye himself joined Geoff Hudson (SC Villa), Paul Hasule (SC Villa), Polly Ouma (SC Villa), Jimmy Muguwa (Express FC) and Milutin Sredojevic (SC Villa) who are the other coaches to have won a Cup double.
