Waiswa Cosia salvaged a late point for Mbale Heroes during their 1-1 draw with Police FC on Saturday at Mbale Municipal Stadium.
Gerald Ogweti had given the Cops the lead before Cosia levelled matters in the final minutes of the game.
Ogweti thought he had secured all the points for Police FC when he opened the scoring in the 75th minute.
Cosia levelled the scores deep in stoppage time to at least secure a point for relegation threatened Mbale Heroes.
Simon Peter Mugerwa’s side are now on 20 points after registering their 11th draw in 18 games.
Mbale Heroes who managed their first point since the 1-1 stalemate with UPDF in December last year remain bottom on the Uganda Premier league table with 10 points.
