Uganda Premier league side Maroons FC are set to lose majority of their key players this transfer window.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that over 12 players are likely to leave the Luzira based side.
These include key players Fred Amaku, captain David Ndihabwe, defender Patrick Bayiga, Abraham Tusubira, Darius Ojok, Jacob Okao, Felix Okot, long servant Ronald Orombi are all out of contract.
Jackson Nunda, Innocent Biyiika, Fredrick Kigozi, Solomon Walusimbi are the other players out of contract at the Luzira based side.
Amaku was the club’s top scorer last season with 12 league goals is currently out of contract following expiration of his contract. He joined the club from Busoga United (Formerly Kirinya Jinja SS).
Meanwhile, the club’s Most Valuable Player for last season, Hannington Ssebwalunyo is close to joining NEC FC.
Muhamad Senfuma coached side finished seventh on the Uganda Premier league table last season with 41 points.
