The management team of Reigning Buganda Masaza Cup champions Bulemeezi Ssaza is set to appoint Ronald Ssali.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Bulemeezi are in advanced negotiations with Ssali for a possible return.
Ssali was Bulemeezi head coach in 2022 when they reached the semifinal stage before he left for Buwekula to work as Technical director.
At Bulemeezi, Ssali will be replacing Ibrahim Kirya who guided them to last year’s Masaza Cup triumph.
Ironically, Kirya was appointed as Buwekula technical director a position Ssali held last year.
Ssali currently serves as assistant coach at the Uganda national U-15 team and is the Boys’ head coach at Bukedea Comprehensive School.
He previously served at joint record national schools champions St Mary’s Kitende.
Bulemeezi are three time Masaza Cup champions following their triumphs in 2012, 2019 and lately in 2023. They beat record competition winners Gomba 1-0 in the final last year.
