Uganda Premier league side Wakiso Giants have completed the signing of UPDF FC forward Derrick Kaija.
Kaija has joined the Purple Sharks on a three year employment contract from the army side.
He becomes the second signing for the Steven Bengo coached side this transfer window.
Kaija is a former player of St. Mary’s Kitende and St. Henry’s Kitovu. He also played for Buluuli in the Prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup.
He joins Zambian winger Erick Kabamba who joined a two year employment contract.
Wakiso Giants kicked off their pre-season training last week under new coaches Bengo and Tonny Mawejje.
The former Uganda Cranes duo replaced John Ayala Luyinda whose employment contract expired at the end of last season.
