Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa will make a return to Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku for their home game against Maroons FC.
According to SC Villa socials, the rescheduled fixture on Sunday, 9th March will be played at 3Pm in Wankulukuku.
The game was earlier slated for 8th March, 2025 but has been moved to Sunday since the Uganda National U-17 Women’s team will be hosting Kenya in the AFCON U-17 Qualifier at Nakivubo on the same day.
The 17-time Uganda Premier league champions have hosted the previous two league games at Maroons’ Prisons Grounds (URA FC and Express FC) since Wankulukuku was under renovations due to the rearranged 2024 CHAN Tournament that will be staged in August in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
It is unclear whether the Jogoos will continue using the facility as their home venue for their remaining league games and possibly in the Uganda Cup.
Meanwhile, SC Villa are unbeaten at home this term winning six and drawing three in the nine games they have hosted. SC Villa are 8th with 24 points, just a point above 9th placed Maroons.
