BUL FC put an end to Kitara’s 10- match unbeaten run with a narrow 1-0 win under the floodlights of Nakivubo Stadium on Thursday.

Jeromy Kirya’s second half goal was enough to maximize points for the Abbey Kikomeko coached side.

Kitara had not lost a league game since November last year when they suffered a narrow defeat to Bright Stars.

They had also kept ten consecutive clean sheets during that time.

Meanwhile, BUL remain unbeaten against Kitara in now six matches and this was their third win at Nakivubo this term following their triumphs against Express FC and URA FC.

Victory also saw the Eastern Giants complete a double over the Royals.

BUL FC are third on the Uganda Premier league table with 32 points while Kitara FC are fourth on 28 points.

Kikomeko’s men will host URA FC, while Kitara FC will welcome Mbarara City FC in their respective league fixtures.
