Six KCCA players ruled out of UPDF fixture

KCCA FC will be targeting back to back wins when they visit inconsistent UPDF FC on Thursday at Bombo Barracks Military Grounds.

KCCA come into this contest after a 5-0 thrashing of relegation candidates Mbale Heroes in their previous league game.

The army side on the other hand will be aiming to return to winning ways following their 2-1 defeat at URA FC.

They however won their previous home league game beating SC Villa 2-0.

Team News

The hosts will be boosted by the return of right back Christopher Kawagu who missed the trip to URA FC due to suspension.

The trio of Samuel Ssekamatte, Emmanuel Ochen and Shakib Mayanja are available for selection after recovering from respective injuries.

KCCA will be without six players who include Musitafa Mujuzi(muscle injury), Hassan Muhamud and Ettiene Katenga are all unavailable.

Steven Munguchi and skipper Julius Poloto are ruled out due to illness while teenage midfielder Brian Ijara is with the Uganda Cubs team preparing for the U-17 AFCON.

The good news is the return of Ashiraf Mugume.
