Uganda Cubs U-17 National team head Brian Ssenyondo has named a final squad of 22 players that will represent the nation at the 2025 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Ssenyondo’s team is in group A that has host nation Morocco, East African neighbors Tanzania and Zambia.
Uganda will kickoff it’s campaign against hosts Morocco in the opening game of the tournament on 30th March, 2025.
Uganda will be seeking to progress to this year’s U-17 World Cup due in Qatar.
The team departed for Morocco on Thursday evening ahead of the tournament.
