Matia Lule will kick start his Police FC reign against Mbarara City FC on Thursday at Kavumba .
The former KCCA FC, Proline and Express FC coach replaced Simon Peter Mugerwa who was relieved of his duties last week due to a poor string of results.
Lule will be desperate to begin his tenure with maximum points since his side is just five points above the red zone.
“The response has been good and I believe we have the player that can help the team move from relegation battle. We face a side also desperate for results and they have one of the best tactical coaches but we are ready and I believe we shall win.” Lule told the media
Mbarara City are winless in six games and have a decent record over the Cops having won six matches, lost two and drawn three in their previous eleven meetings.
