KCCA FC have appointed Jackson Kaddu Magera as interim coach following the departure of Abdallah Mubiru.
The 13-time Uganda Premier league champions part company with Mubiru on Thursday.
Mubiru was relieved of his duties along with his immediate assistant Kefa Kisala.
Magera who previously served as SC Villa head coach during the 2022/23 season will now take over on interim basis.
“In light of this transition, the club hereby announces the immediate appointment of Assistant Coach Magera as the interim Head Coach.”
KCCA FC calls upon its stakeholders to rally behind the team and the interim head coach during this period of transition. Further announcements regarding the coaching situation will be made as and when appropriate.” Confirmed a statement from the club
Magera’s first task as KCCA FC coach will be against BUL FC on Saturday at Lugogo.
