St Lawrence University progressed to the Pepsi University Football League final with a 2-1 aggregate win over IUIU.
Davis Nnono coached side needed a 1-0 win over IUIU to progress to their third final of the University football league in four seasons.
The two sides had played out shared spoils in a 1-1 stalemate in Mbale during the first leg meeting.
Arafat Kembo scored the all important goal in the second leg to send St.Lawrence into the final as they continue searching for their maiden UFL title.
Nnono’s side have previously reached the final in 2019 and 2022 losing to UCU and Uganda Martyrs respectively.
St.Lawrence will now await the aggregate winner between Bugema University and Uganda Martyrs who face off in the return leg on Tuesday next week.
