KCCA FC interim head coach Jackson Magera will be targeting his first maiden win when his side makes a short trip to Alex Isabirye’s URA FC on Wednesday at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.
KCCA FC suffered a 2-1 defeat against BUL FC in Magera’s first game in charge at Lugogo.
Magera took over from Abdallah Mubiru who was sacked by the club last week but is optimistic his charges will prevail over the tax collectors.
“The mood in the camp is positive and the players are very ready for maximum points tomorrow. The game against URA is very important to use because we need to regain our confidence and in case we get positive results it will boost players confidence and all of us.”
“In our previous game against BUL, we controlled possession well and created chances which we couldn’t take away and our defending was horrible. We have put our emphasis on that and we are ready for the game.” Said Magera
KCCA FC will be seeking to complete a double over URA FC following their first round meeting in the league’s opener.
Alex Isabirye’s URA has been fine form winning their previous three games against Mbale Heroes, Mbarara City FC and Bright Stars.
Isabirye anticipates a tough game but is confident his side can maximize points at home
“It won’t be an easy game for us but we are home and we need three points. As I have always stated, we are preparing a team that will compete for trophies in the coming years.” Said Isabirye

Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Hudu Mulikyi are doubtful on the hosts side while KCCA FC are to be without Filbert Obenchan and Sadat Anaku.
Bright Anukani and Musitafa Mujuzi are expected to be available after recovering from respective injuries.
