Ibrahim Kasule joins new club on loan from New York Red Bull II

Red Bull New York II have loaned midfielder Ibrahim Kasule to fellow MLS Next Pro League side Connecticut United FC.

Kasule will play for Connecticut United for the entire 2026 season.

The former Wakiso Giants offensive midfielder made 64 appearances for New York Red Bull II in three seasons scoring 28 goals and providing 11 assists.

His impressive exploits saw him elevate to the status of the club’s all-time leading goal scorer in the process.

Kasule joined New York Red Bull II in 2023 from Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants and made his MLS NEXT Pro debut on April 9th 2023, against Columbus Crew 2.

Kasule also has two appearances with the Uganda Cranes and made his debut in October 2023 against Algeria in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Steven Sserwadda is the other Uganda Cranes player at New York Red Bull II.

Connecticut United is an expansion side of the MLS Next Pro League and will be making their debut this season.
