Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa will be targeting their maiden away win over Mbarara City when the two sides face off on Wednesday at Kakyeka Stadium.
SC Villa are winless at Kakyeka since Mbarara City gained topflight promotion, losing three and a stalemate in the previous meetings at the venue.
The Jogoos have also managed just one win on the road this term coming against struggling Bright Stars.
Morley Byekwaso’s side will also be seeking to complete a doubt over the Ankole Lions having won the first round meeting 4-2 in Wankulukuku.
Mbarara City are now winless in four straight league matches and have only managed two wins at home this term.
Patrick Jonah Kakande and Charles Lwanga are expected to guide SC Villa to their first points at Kakyeka Stadium.
For Mbarara City, they will be aiming to stretch the gap from the Red zone and will bank on Henry Kitegenyi for inspiration.
