The UMEA Solidarity Games have reached the semi-final stages in Boys Football with Kibuli SS, Namagabi SS, Kawempe Muslim and Masaka SS as the final four teams.
Kibuli SS will play against the hosts Namagabi SS at the Ssaza Ground while Kawempe Muslim will face defending champions Masaka SS at the Namagabi Ground.
To reach the semis, Kibuli edged Bulo Parents 5-4 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at full-time.
Kawempe Muslim beat Kyaddondo SS 1-0 courtesy of Steven Bukenya while Namagabi SS beat Kawanda SS 2-0.
Masaka SS, coached by Rogers Lwebuga, were 3-0 winners of Central College Kabimbiri to complete the semi-final menu.
The eventful winning semifinalists will face off in the anticipated final at exactly mid-day as the game officially climax.
Masaka SS won last year’s title after beating Madinah Islamic 1-0 thanks to a Lubega Shabir lone goal.
