The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) has confirmed the qualified schools for the forthcoming National boys’ football championship.
The 2025 Boys’ national football championship will be held from 5th -15th May in Ngora District.
The official launch and group stage draw will be held on Tuesday, 29th April at USSSA Offices in Kampala.
Wakiso District will be represented by giants St.Mary’s Secondary School Kitende, Buddo SS, Standard High School Zzana, Greenlight Islamic SS and Kyadondo SS.
Kitende beat Buddo SS to retain the Wakiso Zone qualifiers Title and are 11-time national football champions.
Mukono will have reigning national champions St Julian High School Seeta, Quality High, Namagabi Secondary School and Mehta Secondary School.
St Julian shocked the nation when they clinched the title in Masaka following their dominant 3-0 performance over Amus College in the final.
Kampala will be represented by Kibuli SS, Lubiri SS, Kawempe Muslim and Uganda Martyrs High School. Kibuli is one of the football giants in the schools competition having won the event a record 11-times.
East African champions Amus College, Bukekea Comprehensive, Teso Progressive Academy, Labira Secondary School and hosts Ngora High School will represent Teso.
Busoga will have Jinja Progressive Academy Secondary School, Lakeside Secondary School, Mt Zion High School and Jinja Comprehensive.
