Buddo Secondary School have part ways with their head coach Simon Peter Mugerwa, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Mugerwa has been serving as Buddo SS head coach since 2017 but according to sources he has decided to end his tenure at the 2018 National champions.
During his time at Buddo, he led the school to the 2018 National championship, FEASSSA Games title and won three Wakiso District trophies.
Meanwhile, Mugerwa has previously worked as assistant coach at Fire Masters Football Club and SC Villa during Douglas Bamweyana’s reign.
He also served at Bright Stars in the same capacity.
Before he was appointed Police FC head coach Mugerwa had been serving in the same position at Kampala Regional side Proline FC.
In the prestigious Masaza Cup, he has worked with Buddu, Bulemeezi and Busiro.
Mugerwa will now turn focus on guiding Police FC back to the Uganda Premier league. His side are currently top of the Big League table with 31 points they garnered in the first round.
