The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ugandan referee Shamirah Nabadda as the centre referee for the explosive Women’s champions league Semifinal game between Mamelodi Sundowns and holders AS Far.

The Ugandan will handle the mouthwatering contest at Korhogo’s Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Ivory Coast tonight.

This will be a repeat of last year’s final that saw AS Far prevail 4-0 over Sundowns to clinch the title.

In that particular final, Nabadda was the fourth official.

Nabadda has also previously officiated at All Africa Games in Morocco, WAFCON 2022 as well as in the CECAFA tournaments.

This year, Nabadda became the first ever female referee to officiate the Uganda Cup final that was held in Lira between Vipers SC and Police FC.
