The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) has confirmed the date for the draw of the national boys schools football championship.
According to USSSA the group stage draw will be held on Tuesday, 29th April ahead of the tournament to be held in Ngora District this year.
The prestigious schools’ event is slated for 5th-15th May in Ngora District.
Mukono based St Julian High School stunned the football fraternity when they clinched the title at last year’s championship held in Masaka.
Under the stewardship of Felix Ssekabuza, St Julian beat East African champions Amus College 3-0 in the final to clinch their maiden title.
St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende and Kibuli SS are the record competition winners with each winning it 11 time. Kitende finished third at last year’s edition and were also runners up in East Africa.
