For the Pakistan Community, Haroon Ahmed represents the promise of a bright future. His determination and love for football serves as a reminder that his story is just beginning, yet with the firm intention of ending as a true legend of the game.
Haroon is the second born in a family of Pakistan nationals Abdul Ashfaq and Farzana Kousar was born on 17th, November, 2008 in Gujrat, Pakistan. He has three siblings.

The energetic right-footed defender is currently at Proline Soccer Academy in Kampala Uganda.
His father Abdul Ashfaq doesn’t have a football background but deals in sports equipment in Uganda.
Education:
Haroon is a senior two student at Aga Khan High School in Kampala, started his elementary education Boo Ali Primary school in Pakistan, while at the eight of eight, he was brought to Uganda, resuming his education at Buganda Road Primary School in primary two. He had his Primary Leaving Exams (PLE) at the sameR school in 2023.
In 2024, he joined Aga Khan High School, an international school.
Football Career
In 2011 when Haroon was 11-years old, he joined Proline Soccer Academy with the help of his coaches, Kaweesa Ronald and Hadija Namuyanja.
Haroon reveals he comes from a non-footballing family but his Passion for the game forced his father to look for an academy.
“There is no sports background in my family”.It’s my dad who chose football, I was redundant, I was growing big, so my Dad decided to take me to an academy such that I keep.”
Haroon can ably play as a right back, central midfielder as well as a right winger. He is a ball playing defender and good tackling.
Haroon Praises his coaches Kaweesa and Namuyanja

“I came at Proline when knowing nothing but my coach [Kaweesa Ronald], actually I love him so much, I developed skills, he made me love the sport.” Haroon narrates.
“Even coach Hadija [Namuyanja] she has added skills on me and I also watch football on YouTube to add on what the coaches give me.”
Best Moment:
Haroon asserts that his best moment was when Proline Academy had a chance to travel to Germany in January, this year with his home academy for friendly matches. Proline partnered with Prosoc Academy based in Germany.

“I was excited when our Proline Academy had a chance to travel to Germany for friendly matches with Prosoc Academy.” That was a great moment for me since I had a chance to showcase my football talent in one of the best countries in regards to the game.” Said Haroon.
