17 goals scored as Bika Byabaganda Football tournament resumes

The Bika Byabaganda Football tournament resumed on Wednesday with six Round of 64 games played at Kibuli SS and Lubiri SS.

Olulyo Olulangira and Mutima Muyanja were the biggest winners on the day with respective 3-0 convincing wins.

Frank Kalanda, Raymond Walugembe and Ronald Kayondo were on target as the Balangira beat Nakinsige 3-0 at Kibuli SS.

Ivan Mayanja, Abu Mayanja and Osman Mayanja scored the goals for Mutima Muyanja in their 3-0 win over Nkusu at Lubiri SS.

Ngaali stunned Ffumbe 2-0 in the afternoon kickoff at Lubiri SS courtesy of goals from Joseph Kyeyune and Salim Kazibwe.

Njovu also beat Ntalaganya 3-2 in a five goal thriller at Kibuli SS. UPDF FC’s Asaph Segujja scored a brace and Patrick Ssekandi added the other for Njovu.

Faizo Mugerwa and Perez Kamuhabwa scored for Ntalaganya.

Faridah Bulega’s coached side Musu beat Ngabi Nnyunga 2-1 thanks to goals from Derrick Jjagwe and Marvin Mulumba.

Henry Matovu scored the lone goal for Ngabi Nnyunga which only proved to be a consolation.

Innocent Kanaabi scored the all important goal as Nsuma beat Mpeewo 1-0 in the early kickoff at Lubiri SS.

The game between Mazzi Ga Kisasi and Kinyomo was not played whereas Kkobe earned a walkover victory over Kayozi.

The teams will meet again in the second leg encounters on Friday 9th May with the eventual aggregate winners progressing to the round of 32.
