St Noa Girls overcame rivals St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende 50-36 to clinch the 2025 USSSA Girls Basketball Title in Bukedea.
It was a repeat of last year’s final that was won by St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende on 31-28.
In the first quarter, St Noa was smiling to a 10-point lead (15-5).
Both sides scored 10 points each in the second quarter with St Noa heading into the break leading 35-15.
The Zzana based side went on to complete their revenge over Kitende with a score of 50-36.
It should be remembered that St Noa had earlier this year prevailed 54-43 over Kitende at the USSSA Qualifiers in Wakiso.
St Noa triumphant team is occupied by national team players in Bushira Namayanja, Modesta Anyango Maxine who represented Uganda at the FIBA Women’s Afrobasket Qualifiers in Egypt and Resty Nanangwe who was part of the Uganda team at the U18 Afrobasket in South Africa.
