The State Minister of Sports Peter Ogwang officially flagged off Buddo SS team that will represent Uganda at the 2023 Africa 3×3 schools’ basketball championship.
Minister Ogwang flagged off the team for Casablanca, Morocco on Thursday evening at Copper Chimney Restaurant in Kampala.
National Council of Sports chairman Ambrose Tashobya, Commissioner of Physical Education and Sports Rev. Canon Duncans Mugumya, Uganda Second Schools Sports Association President Justus Mugisha were all in attendance at the flag off ceremony.
The team departed in the wee hours of Friday, 24th February 2023 aboard Turkish Airlines.
