Makerere University duo of Zainah Namuleme and Fred Ndaula have been named as the Best Player and Coach of the Finance Trust Bank Women Super League for the month of April respectively.
To win the award, Namuleme scored six goals in three games and won one Player of the Month.
Namuleme edged She Corporate’s Jessica Namanda and Kawempe Muslim’s Agnes Nabukenya who scored five and three goals respectively.
Her coach Ndaula edged Kawempe Muslim’s Ayub Khalifa and Kampala Queens Ethiopian tactician Firew Asefa Hailegebral.
St. Noa Girls coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera won the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League coach of the Month after winning three games and drawing the other in four games.
Gold Star Ladies teenage striker Faith Akoyi also won the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League Player of the Month.
Akoyi scored six goals and one Player of the Month accolade to edge Kawempe’s Hope Belinda Nabawanuka and Asubo Ladies forward Miriam Ayoo.
