The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has unveiled the new Uganda Cup trophy ahead of the 2025 final.
The new Uganda Cup trophy will be handed over to the winners of the epic contest between KCCA FC and Vipers SC on Saturday.
The two Ugandan Giants will lock horns under the lights of FUFA Kadiba Stadium in a repeat of the 2018 final.
KCCA FC eliminated Kataka FC at the Semifinal stage 4-1 on aggregate while Vipers SC ejected last year’s winners Kitara FC 2-0 on aggregate.
KCCA FC are joint ten time record winners whereas Vipers are three time competition champions. This is Vipers’ third final in four seasons.
The winners of the Uganda Cup represent Uganda at the CAF Confederation Cup but if Vipers prevails, NEC FC who finished second in the league will take over the slot.
