Uganda Lacrosse Cranes off to USA for World Championships

The Uganda National Lacrosse Cranes team has on Friday, June 16th 2023 been flagged off for the World Championships in the USA.

The team was flagged off by the Acting National Council of Sports General Secretary Joseph Oluga and assistant General Secretary David Ssemakula Katende.

A team of 26 players is under the stewardship of Patrick Oriana departed on Friday afternoon at 4:20PM aboard Emirates Airlines.

Uganda is in group B alongside Japan, Wales, Denmark and France.

The Lacrosse global showpiece will officially start on 21st June and end by 1st July 2023.
