NEC FC have rewarded their best performers of the 2024/25 season at dinner held at Bugolobi Silver Springs on Monday.
Defender Jacob Okao who joined the Hussein Mbalangu coached side from Maroons FC at the start of the season was named as Most Valuable Player.
Goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo currently with the Uganda Cranes national team for the forthcoming friendly games against Cameroon and The Gambia clinched both the goalkeeper of the season and Fans’ Player of the season accolades.
Enock Ssebaggala also away for international duties was named as best midfielder and Players’ player of the season whereas Paul Mucureezi won the best forward gong.
Gaddafi Wahab’s goal against Kitara FC in the first round of the season is NEC’s best of season while Atendele Geriga is the club’s best defender for the concluded campaign.
