Uganda Premier League giants KCCA FC have set a meeting this week to decide on Jackson Kaddu Magera’s future.

According to reliable sources, the KCCA FC board is set to have an internal review meeting to determine Magera’s future at the club.

Magera has been serving as interim coach at the Lugogo based side since the departure of Abdallah Mubiru and guided the club to the Stanbic Uganda Cup final losing to Vipers SC.

The 13-time league champions are expected to appoint a new head coach but the board will make a decision on whether to keep Magera as assistant for the new season.

Former SC Villa tactician Dusan Stojanovic is heavily linked with a move to Lugogo. The Serbian coach is currently unemployed.

KCCA FC have now gone six years without silverware with their last piece of glory coming in 2019 when they clinched the CECAFA Kagame Cup.

The Kasasiro Boys finished fifth on the Uganda Premier league table with 50 points and 19 adrift of champions Vipers SC.

Seven players at KCCA FC are currently out of contract these include Usama Arafat, Sadat Anaku, Filbert Obenchan, Joao Gabriel Esteves Cardoso, Etienne Katenga, Musitafa Mujuzi and Umar Lutalo.
