In a stunning turn of events, Vipers SC is set to crush KCCA FC in the heated competition to secure the coveted signatures of NEC FC duo of Allan Mugalu and Joseph Dhata.
Both players are out of contract at NEC FC this transfer window and this website has established that double champions Vipers SC and KCCA FC have expressed their interest.
Vipers want to boost their right back this window and are hopeful they can reunite with Dhata and snatch him from KCCA FC’s noses who are also strong admirers. Nicholas Wakiro Wadada and Grant Mastiko are the other right wing backs at Vipers SC.
Besides Vipers SC and NEC FC, the South Sudan international has also previously featured for Express FC.
Both sides want to beef up their midfields and are also eyeing offensive midfielder Mugalu who is out of contract this month.
Mugalu has previously featured for Katooke United and Doves All Stars which later changed to Arua Hill SC.

Vipers SC also remain interested in NEC FC’s Enock Ssebaggala who had an outstanding 2024/25 season.

KCCA FC finished the season trophyless while Vipers SC smiled to a second Cup double in three seasons. They sealed the double with a 2-0 victory over KCCA FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup final held at Kadiba last month.
