URA FC are set to complete the signing of center back Ronald Otti, Swift Sports reliably understands.
Otti is currently out of contract at Kitara FC a side he signed for at the start of the recently concluded season.
The towering defender was initially a target for the Tax Collectors last year but negotiations on a possible move did not materialize.
Swift Sports understands that both parties have reached a compromise and the long-awaited move is now imminent.
Otti was one of the finest defenders last season and his acquisition added steel and aggressiveness in the URA FC defense.
Otti featured in 27 of the 30 league games for Kitara FC last season, scoring one goal in the process against Maroons FC at Luzira.
Besides Kitara FC, Otti has previously featured for Mbarara City and BUL FC in the Uganda Premier League.
He is also set to reunite with Alex Isabirye who was his coach at BUL FC about three seasons ago.
