KCCA FC and NEC FC have both expressed their interest in signing Titus Ssematimba who is out of contract at Kitara FC.
NEC FC made the initial bid for Ssematimba and had advanced talks over a possible transfer but a compromise wasn’t achieved.
KCCA are the latest side to express their desire in swooping up Sematimba in a bid to strengthen their squad for the next season.
The former Wakiso Giants offensive midfielder is expected to add creativity and goals in the team he will eventually sign for.
Ssematimba joined Kitara from Wakiso Giants at the start of the previous season on a one year contract.
He also had a brief loan spell at Al Dahra in the United Arab Emirates third tier at the start of last year.
Ssematimba rose to the scene with Black Star Masanafu FC and St. Lawrence University in the Kampala Regional League and University football league respectively.
The crafty midfielder has played for Uganda Hippos (U20), the CHAN Team but also has two caps with the senior team The Cranes.
