KCCA FC have completed the signing of roving right back Lazaro Bwambale, Swift Sports understands.

Bwambale who has been out of contract at Kitara FC, has signed a two year contract with KCCA FC.

The diminutive right back, who previously fared as a right winger, eventually turned out as one of the best right backs in the league last season.

He joined Kitara FC in 2022 from Kitara Regional League side Rwenzori Lions and was part of the squad that guided the Hoima based side to a promotion back to the topflight.

Bwambale on the move to KCCA FC

Bwambale reunites with his former coach Brian Ssenyondo who was recently confirmed as KCCA’s Co-Coach alongside Jackson Magera.

His arrival could eventually see Gavin Kizito who was the club’s first choice right back, shift to the central defence next season.

KCCA will be seeking for a better campaign in the upcoming season having blown hot and cold before finishing fifth on the table in the previous campaign.

The Lugogo based club has already had Brazilian winger Joao Gabriel Esteves sign a new two year contract last week.
