Double winning champions Vipers SC are in negotiations with their Congolese goalkeeper Alfred Macumu Mudekereza over a new contract.
Mudekereza’s previous contract expired this month and this website has established that the seven time Uganda Premier league champions are ready to extend his stay in the country.
Mudekereza joined the Venoms as a free agent in July, 2022 on a three year employment contract.
His heroics in the tense penalty shootout over TP Mazembe helped Vipers reach the group stages of the CAF Champions league in the 2022/23 season for the first time in the club’s history.
He has also won two league titles and two Uganda Cups during his time at Kitende.
Before joining the Kitende based side, Mudekereza had previously featured for OC Bukavu Dawa and AS Vita both from his home country DR Congo.
