KCCA FC has appointed Brian Ssenyondo and Jackson Magera Kaddu as Co-coaches for their senior team.
The club confirmed the development in a statement on Friday,
“KCCA FC announces Mr. Jackson Magera Kaddu and Mr. Brian Ssenyondo as Co-coaches for the senior men’s team, effective immediately. This strategic decision highlights the club’s obligation to build a strong technical bench that combines experience, tactical skill, and a profound understanding of the game. Jackson Magera is a familiar and respected figure within the KCCA FC household, having served in various capacities, including National Team U15 and U17 Head Coach, our Soccer Academy Head Coach, Senior Assistant Coach, and Interim Head Coach. His understanding of the club’s DNA will be instrumental in this new role.”
“Joining him is Brian Ssenyondo, with a proven track record and success in Ugandan and international football. His fresh perspective is expected to supplement Magera’s foundational understanding of KCCA FC.

Ssenyondo is the current Uganda national U-17 Head coach and has previously served at Synergy FC, Mbarara City FC and Kitara FC.
At Kitara, he won the 2023/24 Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy before he left in November last year.
Magera on the other hand has previously served in various capacities at KCCA FC which include working as U-15 and U-17 head coach.

He also worked as assistant coach and interim coach at the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions. Magera also served as head coach at record Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa.
KCCA FC had a disappointing 2024/25 season as they finished with 50 points, 19 adrift of champions Vipers SC. They also lost 2-0 to Vipers SC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup final.
